The garage door status is monitored using magnetic contact sensors, which are compatible with both roller and sectional garage doors.

For safety reasons, it's recommended to install this product solely on motors equipped with an obstruction detection system like infrared beam sensors, as outlined in AS/NZS 60335.2.95:2020. If your garage door opener lacks these sensors, they may be obtainable as additional accessories from the manufacturer.
